Here are a couple of quick pics of my " Curiosity Cabinet " for Gallery 96's collections show in May.It is a collection of imaginary plants made from fabric, paper, yarn, zippers, etc. the book on top of the cabinet is made up of gouache paintings embellished with embroidery and beads. The inspiration came from my Mother's 70 yr. old plant press.
